It Demands Data
Feed the machine. Earn money.
I’m sure this is just a side hustle.
It won’t end up badly.
In this Windows 98–style incremental game, you are assigned a book to type into a terminal to feed an AI.
Of course, you can automate it.
Everything can be automated.
____
How to play:
Press the highlighted character in your keyboard to submit the character. After each word is complete, you will feed the machine tokens. Each time you generate tokens, you get paid.
Use the mouse wheel to scroll the shop panel, and click the buttons to buy the upgrades.
Upgrades can grant you increased TPS (tokens per second), or money earned per token fed. Some upgrades also enable new techs to be bought.
Tip: the Junior Data Scientist is the only thing that increases your money per token that can be bought multiple times. Even mid and late game, it is probably a good idea to hire more of them.
____
I tried to keep the game short, it doesn't take more than 10 minutes to play through. It will feel slow in the start, because I wanted the player to go through the manual process, but it speeds up quickly after a couple of minutes.
